It has been proven that the MD Entertainment's production, Tendangan Si Madun (TSM), has been sitting on the No1 position past few months. It is the most watched serial. Inspite of all this, the cast as well as the crew are still not satisfied. They keep wanting to improve the serial for their loyal fans. With the support of MNC TV, on saturday- sunday, the 10th and 11th of March 2012, they had the " Madun looks for a friend" event at the parking lot of MNC TV, Jakarta.
This event was held mainly to look for talented people, be it in football or dancing. They auditioned to play opposite Yusuf Mahardhika Putra Lingga ( Madun) in the serial TSM.
Totally unexpected, the auditions were flooded by thousands of people. Almost 2000 people registered to show off their talents. Madun and Rizal also attended this event to show their moral support to the contestants. Even the rain didn't kill the enthusiasm of the people.
The judges were in a dilemma because the talent present was so vast. Everyone was good. Some were good in football, some in martial arts, others in traditional dance etc.. On the first day from 8 am to 6 pm, from the 1936 people that auditioned, the judges chose the best 100.
On the second day, 11th March 2012, from these 100 contestants, the judges then chose 24 of them to play in TSM. Claudio ( an actor and a football coach) along with Puadin Redi ( football presenter), had the difficult task of choosing the best 24. The top 24 immediately got the winning prize of signing a contract with MD. They also got another gift as well as shopping vouchers. Exciting isn't it?
