Created under unique and challenging circumstances, MD Entertainment is a relatively new production house that stands upon solid managerial experience and is almost entirely made up of a young, talented workforce that exudes enthusiasm, creativity and utmost dedication.
Over the course of its six years, MD has produced widely popular sinetrons such as 'Dia' and 'Bawang Merah Bawang Putih', ground-breaking daily shows such as 'Cinta Fitri' and memorable Ramadhan series such as 'Ikhlas' and 'Hikmah' which received outstanding acclaim from all segments of the entertainment industry.
Today, MD has over 200 titles and 5000 hours of programming in its library and currently has, on average, 40 hours on air weekly.
MD has been fortunate enough to continually win the industry's most distinguished awards. In 2005 and 2006, MD won "Top Show of the Year" in the Panasonic Awards. Three years in a row starting in 2005, MD's popular shows also clinched SCTV's "Best Program" award. And last year, the industry's most popular daily show to date, "Cinta Fitri", smoothly secured SCTV's 2008 "Best Program" award as well as "Top Show of the Year" in the Panasonic Awards 2009 earlier this year.
